Bishop Krikor Kosa : We wish peace and love for Syria

The Armenian Catholic Bishop of Alexandria Bishop Krikor Kosa  expressed his hope that peace and love would prevail in Syria, Palestine and all other countries of the world.

“In the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we remember Syria’s standing by the Armenians and supporting them, and we always renew life with the resurrection of Christ” Bishop Krikor Kosa said during the Holy Mass held for the Armenian Catholics in Cairo on the occasion of the glorious Easter.

He added “Syria has always, and until now opened its doors to the Armenian people. We are proud and always remember what happened to our Armenian fathers and grandfathers. We send our greetings to President Bashar al-Assad, who is working hard to establish true peace”.

“Syria rose victorious over the enemies and all those who wanted to undermine it, wishing that security, peace and strength would prevail there.”Bishop Krikor expressed.

He also congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

The Holy mass was attended by Ambassador Hussam al-Din Aala, Syria’s permanent representative to the Arab league and head of its diplomatic mission in Egypt.
