Bishop Krikor Kosa: We pray for Syria and Gaza …We pray to God to end all wars in the world 

The Armenian Catholic Bishop of Alexandria Bishop Krikor Kosa expressed his hope that peace and stability would prevail in Syria and the occupied Palestinian territories.

During the Holy Mass on the occasion of Christmas, which was held in Cairo last night, Bishop Kosa called for an end to the wars in all parts of the world and an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, especially the innocent children.

Bishop Koussa said: “We raise our prayers and say no to war, yes to peace for all countries of the world ,and in the heart of each one of us let us be ambassadors of peace in our homeland and all our countries.”

In a special statement, Bishop Kosa said: “I pray for beloved Syria, for its leadership, government and people, and I congratulate Syria on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, just as we pray for our children in Gaza and wipe the tears of those who lost their children as martyrs”, calling for an end to the wars in the whole world.”

The Divine Mass was attended by the First Secretary of the Syrian Diplomatic Mission Basil Scotti as well as representatives of various Egyptian institutions.
