Bishop Kousa: We are ready to sacrifice ourselves to keep Syria strong

CAIRO, April.17, (ST)- Bishop of Alexandria for the Armenian catholic Krikor Kousa has affirmed that the Syrian people are united and no one can divide them and they have proven their readiness to sacrifice themselves to protect their homeland.
 
In a statement to the correspondent of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Cairo, after the Easter mass today, Bishop Koussa said: We pray that peace spreads in the world and that evil, wars and terrorism that, which are getting fiercer, end.”
 
He affirmed that the Syrian people who believe in God, despite the war that was waged against their country and the difficulties they face, are still hand in hand to rebuild their country.
 
“In the past and in the present and the future, we were and still are one people and one fabric, and no one can separate us from each other, and we are all ready to sacrifice ourselves to keep Syria alive and strong,” Bishop Koussa said.
 
Archbishop Koussa saluted Syria, its heroic martyrs, and the steadfast Syrian people.
