Biden’s support to Israel’s crimes affects his efforts to win the US elections

Washington, (ST) – The protests against US President Joe Biden’s complicity with the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories have cast a heavy shadow on Biden’s efforts to win a second term in the upcoming presidential elections in the United States. Many American voters intend to boycott voting for him during the primary elections, amid mounting pressure and criticism from within his party as well the “Democratic Party” on the way he deals with the war of extermination waged by “Israel” against the Palestinians.

Voters belonging to the Democratic Party, who constitute an important electoral base for Biden, decided, according to several media outlets, not to vote for the latter during the primary elections, and a number of them launched an initiative in the state of Michigan for this purpose. While Reuters noted the escalation of calls by activists in the Democratic Party also not to vote for Biden in the presidential elections during which he is supposed to face the potential candidate of the Republican Party, Donald Trump.

Reuters quoted officials in the Democratic Party and others in the White House as saying that Biden’s election campaign management was surprised by the extent of anger and frustration within the party over Washington’s support for “Israel” in the genocidal crimes it is committing in Gaza. It referred that protests within the Democratic Party have escalated for months and objection and criticism have increased against Biden’s complete complicity with the Israeli occupation entity.

Thousands of Democratic voters in the Michigan primary elections yesterday cast their votes in favor of the “non-committal” instead of voting for Biden. This means that the voter refrains from supporting the latter, and many of these voters confirmed that they will cast their votes in favor of a third party other than the Democratic and Republican parties.

After the polls closed last night, counties in Michigan reported preliminary results that 16 percent of Democrats in the state voted “noncommittal” instead of giving their vote to Biden as part of a campaign to pressure the latter to withdraw his support for “Israel”.

American journalist Tucker Carlson commented in a statement after the Michigan results by saying: Biden is a person who is unable to speak and walk, and that the only chance he has to be re-elected to his position in the upcoming elections lies in fraud.
