Biden should look at his country’s human rights record, says Kanaani

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that US President Joe Biden should think a little and look at his country’s record and history in the field of human rights, rather than pay lip service to these rights and pretend to defend them.

Kanani wrote on his Instagram account on Tuesday that the peoples of the world witnessed the true face of American human rights in Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and even on American soil.

Kanaani added that the American president should be concerned about his country’s imposition of an unprecedented embargo on the Iranian people. He stressed that what the United States is doing against any country is a clear example of a crime against humanity.
