Best Film Award for Syrian director Hossam Hammoud at Stockholm Film Festival

 The film (Sons of the Impossible) won the Best Film Award for Syrian director Hossam Hammoud at the International Hope Film Festival in Stockholm – Sweden, which concluded its activities on September 12, 2021. The short films jury, consisting of German actress “Marina Anna Eich”, Belgian producer “Marc Besson” and Swedish producer, “CinciaPoulsen”.The festival awards came as follows:

The award for the best film (Sons of the Impossible), written and directed by HossamHammoud, and the Jury Prize for the Mauritanian film “Kafia” by director Khalifa Say, in addition to a special mention for the hero of the Algerian film “Will Return” the child Nazim Benedja.

The festival was contested between 24 short and feature films nominated from 400 films from all over the world. About this award and the events of the film, director Hossam Hammoud said that this film talks about two cases: (Downs syndrome) and (autism), and a summary of its human events revolves around the invitation to the community in order to reconsider dealing with these humanitarian cases, Especially that providing good care to these cases yields a promising future in society.

The film was filmed in Aleppo, starring : Muhammad Hassan Al-Beik, NourSukari, and with the participation of the stars SalwaJamil, Marwan Ghriwati, Sawsan Ismail and assistant director Hassan Tahan. It is noteworthy that director Hossam Hammoud previously won the Gold Award at Beirut International Film and Television Festival for the movie: (Death for Love) starring Suzan Najm Al-Din, Sabah Al-Jazaery, HussamTahsinBey, Amer Ali, LinaDiab and Maram Ali.
