Ben Ghafir storms Al-Aqsa under protection of Israeli occupation forces
The minister in the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, at the head of a group of settlers, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces.
Wafa news agency reported that Bin Ghafir stormed into Al-Aqsa early this morning from the Magharba Gate, under heavy security from the occupation forces, and carried out a provocative tour in the mosque’s courtyards, accompanied by a number of settlers.
On the 18th of this month, more than a thousand settlers, including Itzhak Wasserlev, the minister in the occupation government, and members of the Knesset, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Magharba Gate side, and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, with tight security from the occupation forces, who closed the Al-Qibli prayer hall after forcing the stationed and Palestinian worshipers to leave. They also intensified their presence in the courtyards of the mosque to secure settler incursions.
Since its occupation of the city of Jerusalem, the occupation authorities have controlled the keys of the Magharba Gate, which they close in the face of the Palestinians, while opening it in front of the settlers who storm Al-Aqsa.
