Belarusian PM to arrive in Damascus tomorrow

DAMASCUS, Nov.22, (ST)-Belarusian economic delegation headed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will arrive in Damascus tomorrow on a two-day visit during which they will discuss with Syrian officials the ways of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields.

The cabinet declared that the talks between the two sides will include the file of economic relations, strengthening intra-trade procedures and cooperation in a number of vital sectors such as energy, transport, education and culture for the common interest of the two countries.

The discussion will also deal with the contribution of Belarusian companies to the reconstruction in Syria, and cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries.

During Golovchenko’s visit, Syria and Belarus are going to sign a number of cooperation agreements and Memorandums of Understanding in a several fields.
