Belarusian Minister of Sports, Syrian Ambassador to Belarus discuss enhancing cooperation in tourism and sport

The Belarusian Minister of Sports and Tourism, Sergey Kavelchuk, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Belarus, Muhammad Al-Omrani means of consolidating friendship and cooperation relations in the fields of tourism and sports.

During the meeting, A-Omrani expressed the Ministry of Tourism’s desire to develop tourism cooperation between Syria and Belarus, and to make use of the large tourism potentials of the two countries, through holding joint tourism activities in Damascus and Minsk.

Al-Omrani stressed the importance of signing an executive program for tourism cooperation and organizing visits by Belarusian tourism delegations to the Syria.

For his part, Minister Kavelchuk expressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to increase cooperation with Syria in the fields of tourism and sports, and to discuss the Syrian Ministry of Tourism’s proposals in this connection and put them into practice.

The Belarusian minister stressed the strong relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
