Belarus and Russia will not allow the revival of Nazism, says Lukashenko

Minsk, (ST) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko declared that his country and Russia would not allow the revival of Nazism as a weapon of the collective West directed against the Slavic world.

“None of us, the Belarusians, the Russians and the Ukrainians, want war, but we will not allow Nazism to be resurrected as a collective West’s weapon to be directed against the Slavic world,” Lukashenko said while laying a wreath at the Glory Hill memorial complex near Minsk on Sunday, RT reported.

Lukashenko stressed that his country has supported and will continue to support Russia and stand by it. He added that, “some people blame us today by saying that we are the only country in the world that supports Russia in its struggle against Nazism. We have supported Russia and we will continue to support it, Lukashenko said”

He stressed that it is not permissible for anyone to write off the memory of the great victory over Nazism.
