DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Before President Bashar al-Assad, Dr. Najah al-Attar sworn in yesterday as Vice President of the Republic

Then, President al-Assad received Dr. Attar,gave her his directives, wishing her success in the assigned  mission.

Dr. Attar was appointed vice president in 2006 and was re-appointed on Saturday by virtue of starting a new presidential term, according to the new constitution.
