‘Basmet Shabab Syria’ launches new project to upgrade voluntary work

The ‘Basmet Shabab Souria’ organization [Syrian Youth’s imprint organization] has launched a new project to contribute to social development process and to increase the Syrian youth’s experiences.

The new project called ‘Ghadi’ was launched during the 5th conference of the organization held on Monday.

It will encourage creativity among youth, empower woman in social proces, increase awareness among children, take care of the people with the special needs, consolidate the principle of citizenship and belongingness and help youth to find jobs.

 Add to that, the project will focus on rural youth and will help them in reclamation of green lands, according to the organization’s Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Anas Younis.

He referred to the organization’s cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Syria Trust for Development, Culture Ministry and other circles in the country to achieve the goals of the project.

On her part, Minister of Social Affairs Rema Qadri asserted that rebuilding the homeland is based on human resources investment and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army.   

It is worthy to note that the organization of ‘Basmet Shabab Souria’ is composed of 25.000 persons and it has carried out many projects over the past five years.
