Basic Education Certificate Exams Start across Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)-The Syrians’ unwavering determination to withstand the ongoing global terrorist war on their country continues to be manifested in their daily life and different activities.

Today, for example, more than 392 thousand basic education students (level 9) took their exams of the study year 2014 in 2700 exam centers in all Syrian provinces.

Hazwan al-Wez, Education Minister, told SANA yesterday that the Ministry had finished all the preparations necessary for exam taking, pointing out that enough security measures were adopted to protect the exam centers around the clock and during all the exam days.

The education sector in Syria has been severely affected by the armed terrorist groups’ attacks. The terrorists’ mortars and car bombs have claimed the lives of many innocent people, including students in different parts of Syria.
