Bashour calls for launching global campaign to lift the western blockade imposed on Syria
The founding President of the Arab Nationalist Union Maan Bashour has called for forming Arab committees and for launching a global campaign aiming at lifting the blockade imposed by the West on Syria.
In a statement on Saturday, Bashour said that a forum will be organized on the 22nd of next February to express solidarity with Syria in the face of the ongoing war, blockade and occupation and to get the world acquainted with the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of these difficult circumstances.
He pointed out that preparations are underway to form committees for solidarity with Syria, noting the contacts being made with influential parties, unions and associations in different countries of the world to call on them to support the Syrian people, army and government in the face of the current challenges.
