Ban Phones Al-Mouallem On Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)- “Syria spares no effort to ensure stability and security for its citizens, “underscored Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Walid al-Moallem .

“the Syrian army is doing its utmost to wipe out terrorists and the armed gangs  only to restore stability and security to al-Quseir city and its countryside, “added al- Moallem.

Al-Moallem remark came  during a phone call made by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon today afternoon .

Both diplomats  discussed the current situation in al-Quseir city.

“verily,I’m  astonished about placing al-Quseir under  the microscope while we do not touch such a thing when the terrorists captured the said city along with its countryside and perpetrating heinous crimes against the residents there over the past 18 months, “clarified al-Moallem.

 “However, the Syrian authorities will allow the Red Cross, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, to be admitted to  al-Qseir area as soon as the military operations end there, “concluded al-Moallem.
