Bahrain welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the signing of the agreement, affirming the unity of Syrian territory and rejecting partition.

The Ministry considered the agreement a positive step in the process of building a state of law and constitutional institutions based on justice and citizenship.

The statement also reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s supportive stance for the security, stability, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, calling on all components of the brotherly Syrian people to prioritize the nation’s supreme interests, reject division and hatred, and actively participate in efforts to build Syrian state institutions, in a manner that meets their aspirations for unity, security, stability, and prosperity.
