Bahrain hosts the West Asian Bodybuilding Championship in all categories

In a move that reflects the importance of Syrian expertise in Arab and international forums, West Asian Federation President Manar Heikal, who also serves as president of the Syrian Bodybuilding Federation, signed a contract with Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation President Sami Haddad to organize the sixth edition of the West Asian Bodybuilding Championship.

 

Heikal confirmed in a statement to SANA that according to the contract, the championship will be held in Manama between October 31 and November 2nd, and will include all age groups: youth, men, masters, physique, classic, and classic physique. The new rules for amateurs and semi-professionals will apply to it.

 

Heikal added: “The Syrian Bodybuilding Federation strives to enhance its standing regionally and internationally by participating in all sporting activities, tournaments,  in addition to exchanging expertise and making the most of the experience of advanced countries in this sport.”
