Bagheri: We seek to employ the capabilities of the UN Security Council to expose the crimes of the Zionist entity

Tehran, (ST) – Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri stressed that his country seeks to employ the capabilities of the UN Security Council to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and expose the crimes of the Zionist entity.

Bagheri said in a statement today upon his arrival in New York: As for Palestine, a clear crime and genocide has been taking place in Gaza for 9 months.

“Iran has always played an effective role in the political, legal and public diplomacy fields of the Palestinian cause, in addition to its other activities and events, Bagheri added.”

Bagheri stressed the continuation of preparing the conditions that force the Zionist entity and its supporters, especially the US administration, to end the crime of genocide in Gaza Strip and return the oppressed Palestinian people to their normal lives.
