Baghdad & Washington agree on reducing US forces deploying in Iraq

Baghdad (ST): Iraq and the US have agreed to reduce the number of the US forces deployed on Iraqi territories. The final communiqué released at the end of the opening session of the US Iraqi dialogue held through  video conference technology  said that the US would continue to reduce its forces deployed  in Iraq and conduct dialogue on the situation of the remaining forces during the forthcoming few months. 
 
In the same context, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi said in a statement that the strategic dialogue held between his country and the US focused on the principle of sovereignty and the interests of Iraq and it achieved great results as it stressed the necessity of the US withdrawal from Iraq and ending any US military bases in it.
 
Last January 5th, the Iraqi House of Representatives voted with absolute majority on a decision that obliges the Iraqi government to put an end to the US military existence in Iraq following the atrocious crimes perpetrated against Iraqi military positions and high ranking military leaders.
