Baghdad: Three missiles launched in the surroundings of the US embassy

Baghdad (ST):  Three missiles were launched into the surroundings of the US embassy in the Green Zone in the centre of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

Baghdad Today Website quoted Iraqi Security sources as saying that three missiles fell into the Green Zone but no casualties were reported. The site added that sirens were heard inside the US embassy following the strong explosions that happened after the fall of the missiles.

Four missiles were launched into the surroundings of the US embassy at the beginning of March, but no casualties were reported.
