Baghdad (ST): Iraqi national security advisor Qassem al-A’raji reviewed with Syria’s ambassador to Iraq Sarttam Jada’an Al-Dandah bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in the security and information domains.
In a statement, the Iraqi national security office said that the two sides reviewed the latest security and political developments in the region and joint cooperation and coordination to protect their borders and combat terrorism. They underlined the importance of exchanging security and intelligence information to eliminate the remains of the terrorist Da’esh organization.
The statement added that Al-A’raji affirmed Iraq’s keenness to preserve what has been achieved and work to prevent the infiltration of terrorists between the two countries.
In turn, ambassador Al-Dandah stressed the importance Syrian-Iraqi coordination in the security and information domains to eliminate the remains of the terrorist organizations operating in the two countries.
