Baghdad: An operation to follow the remnants of Daesh terrorists in al-Anbar starts

Baghdad (ST): The Iraqi popular mobilization forces (Hashd) started today  an operation to follow the remains of terrorist Daesh organization in al-Anbar Governorate to the west of Iraq towards the Syrian Iraqi borders.

The Commander of al-Anbar forces said in a statement quoted by al-Sumariah news website that according to security information, some areas in the Western al-Anbar include sleeping cells and we have intensified our operations to eliminate these cells.

Earlier, Iraqi forces had launched two security operations to follow the remains of Daesh to the north of Diyali and to the south of Kikuk.
