Baath Party Central Leadership: Martyrdom is pinnacle of sacrifice
The Central Leadership of the Arab Baath Socialist Party has affirmed that martyrdom is the highest degree of giving and the pinnacle of sacrifice for the Syrians in all the stages in which Syria was subjected to aggression and wars of different kinds.
In a statement on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day the Baath Party Leadership stated: “Victory would not have been possible without the blood of the martyrs, the wounded and their resistant and patient families. From them, we have learned and continue to learn the meanings of heroism, sacrifice and fortitude, and from them we derive strength and ability, and with their greatness and patriotism the homeland withstood the dangers.” These words
“In these sincere expressions, the Secretary-General of the Baath Party, President Bashar Al-Assad, described the martyrs’ unmatched giving and nobility”. The statement added.
“Since the morning of May 6th, 1916, when pain and sorrow was mixed with pride, martyrdom has become the title of giving for the Syrians and the pinnacle of sacrifice in all the stages in which Syria was subjected to aggression and wars of different kind.” the Central Leadership affirmed.
The central leadership highly appreciated the sacrifices of May 6th martyrs and all Syria’s martyrs, and pledged alliance and loyalty to President Bashar Al-Assad and to the Syrian army.
