Damascus – (ST)- The Arab Socialist Baath Party strongly condemned the crime of targeting the leader of the Lebanese National Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and a number of his comrades, holding the Israeli occupation entity fully responsible for this heinous crime.
The party stressed in a statement that the Syrian Arab people lost, with the martyrdom of the resistance leader, Nasrallah, a loyal partner with whom they shared a long history full of victories, unity of blood, and clarity of vision, stressing that his heroic journey will remain an incentive for future generations to continue their struggle to liberate all occupied Arab lands.
The party pointed out that His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah is a symbol of resistance and presented a vibrant model of resistance against the forces of tyranny, adding that he marked a bright stage of the modern national, Arab and Islamic struggle against the Zionist enemy and its supporters.
He also inspired successive generations with the meanings of the inevitability of victory, honesty in belief, and steadfastness on principle, and thus he humiliated the occupation “army” over thirty years.
The party stressed that the criminal operation that targeted the leader of the national resistance in Lebanon and a number of his comrades reflects that the occupation government is continuing its miscalculations to the end, ignoring that the Arab and Islamic peoples, despite the harshness of the current circumstances, are living a historic phase of renaissance and that our new generations realize that the enemy only understands the language of force and that the martyrdom of the heroic leaders will not deter them from following the path of resistance.
The party pointed out in its statement that the martyrdom of His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah marks a key stage in the struggle between two projects, neither of which can continue without the other, and it will only increase our determination to achieve victory, believe in the justice of our cause, and adhere to the resistance to restore the usurped rights.
