The artist Ayman Zidane won the Best Actor Award for his role in the feature film (Days of Lead), produced by the General Film Corporation, at the Fifth International Cinemana Festival, which recently concluded its activities in the Sultanate of Oman.
The film is directed by Ayman Zidane and screenplayed by Ahmed Adra. Through the film, Zidane presented a contemporary atmosphere about Syrian society in the light of the repercussions of the war on the people and the nature of the relationships that were generated under the war’s effects.
The film narrated the story of a man who wanted to regain his social status after he retired and through his previous practices with his family, he faced many challenges to pay the price of his many mistakes throughout his life by bearing a mistake he did not commit.
It is worth noting that the film stars Ayman Zidane, Saad Minna, Hazem Zidane, Gabriel Maleki, Sally Ahmed, Lama Baddour, Hossam Salama, Dalaa Nader, Grace Ahmar, Yamen Suleiman, Tatiana Abu Asali, Qusay Qudsia, Hashem Ghazal, Suleiman Shariba, Kamal Qarhali, Nabil Marish, Khoshnaf Zaza, Tariq Bitar, and the child Alexander Salloum, with the guests of honor, the artists Abdel Fattah Al-Muzain, Alaa Qassem, and Joud Saeed.
