Ayman Kilziya sets a fresh swimming record in DSC

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Ayman Kilziya, member of the national swimming team, has clinched the 200 m medley relay title in the 4th Dubai Swimming Championship which was hosted by Dubai city .

With this win, Kilziya set a fresh Syrian record with two minutes, eight seconds and 65 parts of a second breaking his previous record (2,10,14).

Kilziya also took a bronze medal in the 200 m free-style contest.

Bian Jum’a, the promising swimmer, came second in the 400 m free-style discipline and took a bronze medal in the 200 m free-style contest.

Earlier, Nirmeenjirdi took a silver medal in the 200 m free-style contest.

At the end of the event, the national team, who took part in the said event, captured (1 gold, 2 silver and five bronze medals).
