Aya Al-Rahiya wins gold in the 400m hurdles and Aya Asber silver in javelin throwing at West Asian Athletics Championships

Beirut (ST): Aya Rahiya, a Syrian female athlete, won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles in the West Asian Athletics Championships for young men and women, currently being held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

In the javelin throwing competition, the player Aya Asbar won the silver medal, despite the strong competition from the players of the participating teams.

Earlier today, our team had won two “golden and silver” medals through the players Saddam Al-Nams and Youssef Albi in the 10 km walk race, bringing our team’s balance to four gold and two silver medals.
