Authorities seize huge amounts of ammunition in Daraa and Hama

Provinces – The authorities in Daraa province, in cooperation with the locals, seized huge amounts of various types of ammunition carried in a bus on Daraa international highway.

The ammunition was bound for the terrorist organizations in Damascus Countryside, SANA reported.

The bus’s driver was arrested and referred to the authorities concerned for interrogation.

 

Amounts of arms and ammunition seized in Hama

The authorities in Hama, in cooperation with the locals, seized amounts of arms and ammunition inside one of basements in al-Faraya neighborhood south of Hama city.

The authorities raided one of the houses’ basement in al-Farayah neighborhood and found a depot of arms and ammunition inside it.

The seized arms and ammunition included sniper, three automatic rifles and a launcher in addition to wads, gags, medicine, pouches and different kinds of ammunition.

On Saturday, Popular defense groups in Sweida province, assisted by the people of Kanaker area, seized a car loaded with a large amount of weapons and munitions in the western countryside of the province.
