Authorities destroy booby-trapped car with two terrorists onboard on Damascus International Airport Road

Damascus Countryside – Authorities on Tuesday thwarted a terrorists’ attempt of detonating a car bomb near al-Mustaqbal crossroad on Damascus International Airport Road.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that authorities destroyed a car bomb carrying two suicide terrorists before they reached a check point near al-Mustaqbal crossroad that leads to al-Sayyda Zeinab town in Damascus Countryside Province, SANA reported.

 

The source confirmed the death of the two terrorists inside, adding that the car was completely destroyed.

The source pointed out that a civilian was killed and another got injured as they were passing by the car when it was destroyed.
