Authorities arrest a terrorist cell leader in Daraa countryside

“The authorities in Daraa carried out a qualitative operation targeting the mivement axis of a terrorist cell in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maskin area in the northern countryside of Daraa, during which they arrested the leader of the cell, eliminated another terrorist, and confiscated their weapons.” A security source told SANA.

The source pointed out that “the terrorist cell carried out 3 terrorist attacks during the past week using a motorcycle to facilitate movement between agricultural lands, which resulted in the martyrdom of two policemen and an army soldier.”
