Australian writer: The Israeli aggression against Gaza is a total war of annihilation

A comprehensive war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians is the goal behind the Israeli aggression that has continued over the past 50 days on Gaza Strip, as affirmed by Australian writer Caitlin Johnston.

Johnston, in the context of an article she published on the Medium platform, said: “The Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip does not target the Palestinian resistance, rather, it is a comprehensive war of annihilation of all Palestinians in the besieged Strip, noting that “Israel” used the narrative of targeting the resistance as an open excuse to commit massacres and launch an ethnic cleansing campaign against the Palestinians.

Johnston also mocked the fact that, during its aggression against Gaza, “Israel” ordered the Palestinians to leave their homes and head to the south of the Strip under the pretext of saving their lives from the bombing, but what happened is that it bombed the south and killed them there, and now it will fire on them again if they try to return to northern Gaza, perhaps even they will also justify killing them to save their lives.

Moreover, Johnston pointed out that “Israel” is targeting journalists in Gaza to silence the voices of truth, noting that the United States and the Israeli occupation entity are well aware that whoever controls the popular media narrative controls the public opinion, therefore they have continued to attack the media and journalists covering the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, they now fear the media entering Gaza during the temporary truce, because their reports will expose the lies they told about crimes against the Palestinians.
