Attia: Western support pushes terrorists to commit crimes against Syrians

The former Egyptian parliamentarian, member of the Political Bureau of the Nasserist Party, Mohsen Attia, denounced the operations carried out by terrorist organizations and the US-backed SDF militias against the Syrian people.

He said that these terrorist organizations and militias committed major crimes due to the continued Western support for them.

Attia said in an exclusive statement to SANA reporter in Cairo:

“Kidnapping and intimidation of citizens by the SDF militia constitute a crime that demands punishment for those who support and finance this militia from Western countries, led by the United States, whose policies have been directing them and providing them with protection,” Attia stated.

He pointed out that at a time when terrorist gangs are committing their crimes, the American occupation is stealing Syrian oil and the Zionist occupation entity continues its attacks on Syrian lands.

He added: “ The conspiracy camp has not yet understood its loss in front of the Syrian steadfastness and sacrifices, and it is trying today to further tighten the screws on the Syrian people, both through economic sanctions or terrorism.”
