Attacks by the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries on electric power lines delay Water pumping to Hasakah
The Hasakah General Establishment for Water said on Saturday that the delay in pumping water to Hasakah city center for the second day is the result of repeated attacks by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation on the electric power lines feeding Allouk water station.
According to a source at the Hasakah Water Establishment, the electric power line feeding Allouk water station in the countryside of the occupied city of Ras Al-Ayn has witnessed repeated power cuts due to attacks by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation which delayed water pumping to the main water tanks in Al-Himmeh station and consequently delayed water pumping to locals in the center of Hasakah city for the second day.
In the same context, local sources told SANA that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation have started to steal electricity from the power line feeding Allouk water wells to use it for private purposes in the lands and properties they seized from the locals under the threat of weapon, thereby impeding the operation of the water station and exacerbating the locals’ suffering because of water shortage.
The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries stopped water pumping from allouk water station all last summer, causing suffering to more than a million people in Hasakah and its countryside.
