At the invitation of the People’s Assembly, Russian delegation visits Syria to accompany the presidential elections

Moscow (ST): In response to an invitation from the People’s Assembly, the Russian Federation Council formed a delegation to participate in accompanying the presidential elections in Syria, which are taking place on the 26th of May. 

“The delegation includes four members: Sergey Muratov, who will chair the delegation, Vadim Dengin, Oleg Seleznev, and advisor to the staff of the International Committee, Andrei Kulenko,” said the president of the International Committee, Gregory Karasin, according to what Russia Today reported, indicating that the delegation will also include representatives of the General Chamber of Russia:  Maxim Grigoriev and Mikhail Anishkin ”.

The head of the International Affairs Committee in the Russian State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, announced earlier that he had received an invitation from the People’s Assembly to accompany the presidential elections in Syria.
