At least 8 hurt in mortar attack on Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least 8 persons were wounded when two mortar rounds hit al-Zablatani area in Damascus on Monday, according to a police command source.

The source clarified that two mortar rounds, fired by terrorists, fell on the outskirts of Souq al-Hal [Vegetables market] in the area of al-Zablatani, leaving 8 persons wounded.

Last Saturday, terrorists fired a mortar round on the same area, wounding 8 persons.

Al-Zablatani area is located near Jobar quarter and the eastern Ghouta of Damascus in which terrorist organizations spread.
