At least 4 hurt as mortars hit Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least 4 persons were wounded when 6 mortar shells hit several quarters in Damascus city today, according to a police command source.

The mortar shells were fired by terrorist organizations holed up in Jobar quarter near Damascus and they fell in al-Tijara, Bab Touma and al-Adawi quarters in the capital [Damascus].

The terror attacks wounded 4 persons in al-Tijara quarter and caused damage to two homes in the historic Bab Touma quarter.

Last night, terrorists fired two rockets on Mazeh 86 quarter in the same city [Damascus], causing damage to civilians’ properties.

Terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front and the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Islam’ spread in Jobar quarter, which is located on the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and they target urban areas in the city of Damascus with mortar shells and rockets.
