At least 3 terrorist leaders killed in Homs and Lattakia

PROVINCES,(ST)_ A number of al-Nusra-Front terrorists and their leaders were killed, and their weapons were destroyed in operations carried out in countryside of Lattakia, Homs, Damascus, Hama and Aleppo.

According to SANA, the armed forces carried out qualitative operations against al-Nusra Front terrorist groupings in towns of al-Sekareya, al-Farz, and al-Qasab (in Lattakia countryside) where one Sudanese, two Libyan and Saudi terrorists were among eliminated ones.

It was also reported that the armed forces pursued terrorist groups in south-west Adra area in Damascus countryside and shelled a terrorist hideout in Qarra area in the same province.

Other terrorists’ hideouts in several sites in Homs countryside were reportedly destroyed and two terrorist leaders were killed.

However, Hama province witnessed fighting between a unit of armed forces and armed terrorists group in Bab-Qebli and Souk al-Shajara areas ended in killing 5 terrorists and injuring 4 others.

Another unit of armed forces also clashed with another terrorist group in Hama countryside. All terrorists were killed and their weapons confiscated.

Meanwhile, army’s units advanced in Qastal Harami area in Aleppo province and captured Aziza town on the road of Aleppo International Airport, according to al-Watan newspaper. 

Syria is in a state of war and its army is doing its duty as regard defending homeland and citizens, and fighting terrorist groups to restore stability and security to the country.

The terrorist groups, who are exported from 40 countries, perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
