DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least three civilians were wounded Tuesday by mortar fire on al-Zablatani area in Damascus, according to a police command source.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that three civilians were wounded by splinters of a mortar round, fired by terrorists.

The mortar round hit Souq al-Hal [Vegetables market] in al-Zablatani quarter, which lies west of the contested Jobar quarter, in Damascus.

Two shops were damaged by the mortar attack.

Two days ago, terrorists fired a missile on al-Abbaseyen area in the same province [Damascus], causing damages to several cars and houses at the scene. No one was reportedly hurt.

The missile fell on a house.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria.
