At least 18 martyrs on the 257th day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Israeli occupation continued its land, air and sea aggression on Gaza Strip for the 257th day. Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured during the last hours due to the bombing of several areas in the Strip.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation warplanes bombed a camp for the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area northwest of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of 7 Palestinians and the injury of dozens, most of them women and children.

Another Palestinian was martyred in a similar bombing in the north of the city, and the bodies of 3 martyrs from one family were pulled out of the rubble in the western camp in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in the city.

The occupation warplanes also launched a series of raids on the western areas of Rafah city, and targeted with artillery shelling the vicinity of a field hospital there. The occupation forces also fired a barrage of bullets at Palestinian homes, coinciding with aircraft bombing of tents for the displaced in Al-Shakoush Street southwest of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources warned of the catastrophic deterioration of the health situation in Rafah city due to the occupation’s continued targeting of hospitals and medical centers, leading to the martyrdom and injury of dozens, and some patients are losing their lives due to the severe shortage of medicines and necessary medical supplies. They referred to the increasing spread of viral hepatitis among the displaced as a result of the severe overcrowding in the camps.

In the central Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were martyred and others were wounded as a result of the occupation’s bombing of several houses in the new camp west of the Nuseirat camp, while violent artillery shelling continued on the north of Nuseirat, and the occupation boats opened fire on the shore, while the bodies of 3 martyrs were recovered as a result of previous shelling of the vineyards northwest of the camp.

The occupation shelled several houses in the town of Al-Maghraqa north of the camp with artillery, and its drones targeted with bullets. Palestinian homes east of Deir Al-Balah.

In Gaza City, north of the Strip, 6 Palestinians, including children, were killed and others were injured when the occupation shelled a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

The occupation’s artillery targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city amid heavy gunfire, and its warships opened fire on houses off the coast of the Al-Shati refugee camp west of the city.

37,396 martyrs and 85,523 wounded are victims of 257 days of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres in Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, with 24 martyrs and 71 wounded arriving at hospitals.

The ministry clarified in a statement today that the number of victims of the ongoing aggression on the Strip since October 7 has risen to 37,396 martyrs and 85,523 wounded, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The number of martyrs of the occupation air force bombing of a camp for displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip has risen to 8 after a young man died of his injuries.

Meanwhile, two Palestinians were martyred and others were wounded as a result of the occupation bombing of the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Drones also opened fire on the eastern areas of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
