At least 11 persons hurt in terror attacks in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Over 11 persons were wounded when mortar shells hit al-Qazzazin and Mazzeh quarter in Damascus, a police command source said Saturday.

The source clarified that terrorists fired a mortar shell on al-Qazzazin quarter in the heart of Damascus, wounding at least 11 persons and causing damage to several homes.

2 more shells landed in -Mazzeh quarter, leaving damage to homes without casualties.

The mortar shells were fired by terrorists holed up in Jobar quarter near Damascus.

Most of the terrorists in Jobar quarter affiliate to the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Islam’ [Islam Army] and they are linked to the Saudi regime.

Yesterday, terrorists fired mortars and rockets on residential areas in Damascus and its suburb, killing 11 persons and wounding 30 others.
