At a cost of more than 800 million pounds, services projects  completed in Daraa Countryside

Daraa (ST): Al-Jiza Town Council in the eastern countryside of Daraa, in cooperation with the local community, has completed a number of service projects in the town, at a cost of more than 800 million Syrian pounds.

The head of the town council, Muhammad Tabash, told SANA news reporter that the projects included rehabilitating the well feeding the town, and digging another well to connect it to the network. The Council, in cooperation with the local community, equipped the schools with all their needs of restoration, maintenance and construction of a high school fence.

Tabash indicated that the Council is in the process of implementing a contract for asphalting and paving some roads through a contract concluded with the Qasioun Company at a cost of 50 million Syrian pounds, pointing out that the demands of the people from the Directorate of Education in Daraa included the opening of a division for the third secondary school, in order to ease the movement of students to neighboring towns for their educational attainment.
