ASTANA, (ST)- Bilateral and tripartite meetings at the expert level within the framework of the Astana 7 meeting on Syria will be held tomorrow, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday.
The Russian Sputnik agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the participating delegations in Astana meeting will start to arrive in the Kazakh capital today evening.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that all parties involved in Astana process on Syria confirmed their participation in the next round of talks on October 30-31.
The Kazakh capital hosted six meetings on Syria this year; the latest was on September 14-15. All the meetings affirmed commitment to Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity and to maintaining the cessation of hostilities agreement and the establishment of de-escalation zones.
