Assyoti: The need for solidarity with Syria in its war against terrorism

Egyptian Vice-President of the People’s Democratic Party Sayyed Al-Assyoti reiterated the need to join forces and solidarity with Syria in its war against terrorism and the enemies of the nation alike.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Assyoti said :”Syria faced a global conspiracy and offered great sacrifices in order to preserve the dignity of the entire region and protect it from the partition plan drawn by hostile colonial powers, pointing out that had it not been for the sacrifices and steadfastness of the Syrian Arab army, the terrorist organizations would spread in all the region”.

Assyoti added that the Syrian Army destroyed the  West’s illusions and crushed their terrorist tools that sought to implement the sinister  plans, pointing out the importance of the battles the army is currently fighting against the remaining terrorist organizations in northern Syria.
