Associations in Hungary Thank Russia for Supporting Syria

The Syrian American Will Association (SAWA), the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) and activists in Syrian community in Hungary have highly appreciated Russia’s support for Syria and its army, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported Friday that several persons representing SAWA, the NUSS and Syrian community in Hungary gathered outside the Russian embassy in Budapest to thank Russia for its support for Syrian people in counterterrorism.

 The participants in the solidarity stand said that they are proud of Syrian Arab army and of its role in defending homeland’s unity and eliminating terrorist organizations that have wreaked havoc in Syria.

They also announced their support for the Syrian leadership’s crucial policy in dealing with the crisis, expressing their deep gratitude for Russia’s political and military support to Syria in confronting the US-NATO-Israeli-Ottoman intervention.
