As a special envoy for President al-Assad, Major General Mamlouk visits Tehran and meets Shamkhani

As a special envoy of President Bashar Al-Assad, Major General Ali Mamlouk, Head of the National Security Office, visited Tehran on Sunday and met the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security of Iran, Ali Shamkhani.

During the meeting, Major-General Mamlouk conveyed President Al-Assad’s warm condolences to the leadership, government and people of Islamic Republic of Iran on the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force.

The discussions centered on joint coordination in the coming stage and emphasized that the martyrdom of General Soleimani will increase the two countries’ adherence to the principles and the joint approach that has proved its validity over the previous years.
