Artist Raed Khalil wins a new award at an international festival in Romania

Damascus (ST): Syrian artist Raed Khalil won the Excellence Award at the International Festival (Golden Apple) in Romania in its thirty-eighth session, amid the participation of cartoonists from dozens of countries.

The theme of the competition revolved around (Mirror and Rear Mirror), where Khalil participated in three highly appreciated drawings, along with artists from Ukraine, Croatia, Montenegro, China and Uzbekistan.

Khalil’s winning drawings depict the idea of rear-view mirrors in cars in an artistic and critical manner with political, artistic and social approaches bearing  dimensions and connotations vibrant with interpretation.

It is noteworthy that the artist Khalil won dozens of awards worldwide.
