Artist Hossam Tahseen Bey dedicates a patriotic song to wounded Palestine

In solidarity with the Palestinian people and in appreciation of their sacrifices, the Syrian distinguished artist Hossam Tahseen Bey presented a Palestinian national song , using the words of the Palestinian poet Ahmed Dakhil and composed by the Palestinian artist Youssef Al-Asi, at the initiative of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Authors.

The work directed by Yasser Ali, which will be shown within days, talks about the rejection of the new Nakba and displacement from Palestine and the insistence of its people to adhere to their homeland, no matter the sacrifices they make.

The writer of the work,  poet Ahmed Dakhil, said in a statement to SANA that the song was written in light of the circumstances to which our Palestinian people are exposed today, including a campaign of genocide, erasure, and an attempt to displace them from their land.

Regarding the advantage of the song, Dakhil indicated that it comes at a time when our Palestinian people are going through difficult circumstances; in addition to that, it emulates their pain and sacrifices.

He pointed out that it will find  wide resonance in the hearts of the free people of the world, as it was translated into English by Muhammad Samer Dakhil with the aim of reaching Western societies.

Dakhil dedicated his new song, which was distributed by artist Joseph Musleh and a Syrian artistic crew, to all the martyrs in Palestine.
