BEIRUT,(ST)- Prominent Syrian artist Dureid Lahham and his artistic crew were exposed to an assault attack while filming a series in al-Qalamoun area to the north of Lebanon by an extremist Salafi group , on Saturday.
The Lebanese al-Jadid TV team, which was at site, reported that during artists Lahham ‘s filming of a series in al-Qalamoun area, to the north of Lebanon, one Salafi extremist group from the area attacked the filming location and besieged the team in an attempt to attack artist Lahham.
