Arnos to an Iranian media delegation: Unifying the efforts of media organizations to expose disinformation campaigns targeting the two countries

Prime Minister Hussein Arnous affirmed that the media war on Syria, which included incitement, misinformation and falsification of facts, constitutes one of the aspects of the terrorist war imposed on Syria for years at all levels, noting that the Syrian national media has been targeted and has been making sacrifices and offering martyrs side by side with the Syrian Arab Army.
During his meeting today with the head of the Radio and Television Corporation of the Islamic Republic of Iran Peyman Jabali, and the accompanying delegation, Premier  Arnous called for unifying efforts between the media institutions of the two countries in order to expose the misinformation campaigns practiced by some media outlets that were partners with terrorism in bloodshed and incitement against the two countries. Premier Arnous pointed out the need to inform the public opinion in both countries of the truth about the events on the regional and international arenas.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the continued exchange of economic, scientific, cultural and media delegations between Syria and Iran is an embodiment of the will of the two countries’ leaderships in order to develop bilateral relations in various fields.
For his part, Jabali congratulated Syria on the victories Syria had achieved in the face of terrorism and the liberation of many of its lands thanks to the heroism of the Syrian army, people and leadership.
The two sides stressed the importance of coordination and strengthening cooperation between the General Authority for Radio and Television in Syria and the Radio and Television Corporation in Iran. The two sides further stressed the importance of benefiting from Iranian experiences in the fields of human cadres training, technical support, and the establishment of joint projects that include the production of movies and dramatic works that contribute to revitalizing cultural exchange, strengthening community relations and economic cooperation through highlighting investment opportunities and showing the available capabilities in the two countries.
