Arnos inspects the ongoing work to repair the damaged parts on the runways of Damascus International Airport due to the Israeli aggression

Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnos, inspected this morning the works carried out by the cadres of the Ministry of Transport, construction, technical and study companies and institutions, and civil aviation crews, which since yesterday have started repairing the damage caused by the Israeli aggression that targeted Damascus International Airport yesterday afternoon.

Eng. Arnos stressed the importance of the concerted efforts of all parties concerned with the repair operations, setting an accurate schedule and following it around the clock to repair the damaged parts in the runways of Damascus International Airport as quickly as possible and to tighten safety and security standards according to the required technical conditions benefiting from national expertise and competencies in completing these works.

Following the Israeli aggression that targeted Damascus and Aleppo International Airports, which caused them to go out of service, the Ministry of Transport has converted the scheduled flights through Damascus and Aleppo airports to Latakia International Airport, and asking passengers to arrange their travel, transportation and flight dates with the airlines companies and their offices concerned and contact the airport administrations for any queries.
